November 2, 2017 – OH MY GOSH Y’ALL! The amount of Christmas related things I have seen in the past two days is absolutely ridiculous! I know Christmas is right around the corner, but it was 75 degrees today and we haven’t even made it to Thanksgiving yet. Trust me, I LOVE Christmas but I have so many things to be thankful for and want to spend the whole month of November thinking about them. I wanted to provide a little fall/Thanksgiving reminder with my outfit choices for the next couple days. And the fall decor still all over my family’s house.
Sadly this is another post that won’t have any clothing items linked at the bottom because my entire outfit was either purchased at TJ Maxx or a store similar or they are items that I’ve had in my closet for years. But I just had to share this wonderful outfit anyways. This outfit is so simple but yet so trendy.
I got this dress last winter when I was shopping with my mum. She saw it in the window of Max Studio and it caught our eye. I tried it on and we knew that I needed it in my wardrobe. The dress is so stretchy and it hits all the right places, plus the color is amazing. The inside of the dress is also so soft against my skin and I feel like I’m really wearing a nightdress but it’s a real dress (YES PLEASE). I found the scarf I’m wearing in my mum’s stuff while we were unpacking and organizing her closet in the new house. I’ve been looking for a scarf just like the one I’m wearing for so long because I knew it was just what I needed for this dress. And when I saw this in my mums closet, I needed it (but she wouldn’t let me steal it, so I just borrow it from time to time now). She bought it from the Banana Republic last year and its such a great piece. Y’all have seen and heard about my below the knee boot socks and boots before, so I’ll save y’all from all the repetition that could occur. The last item for this outfit is this gorgeous hat that I got from TJ Maxx two years ago before I studied abroad. Every girl needs a fun wide-brimmed hat for their closet and this is my winter version. I love it and it is so warm. Y’all should be seeing more of it this winter.
So sorry I don’t have any links for these pieces today, I wish I did because they are such staple pieces for a gal’s closet. However, because of their constant popularity, I will keep my eyes open for current season things that are very similar.
