Striped Style: Part II

April 27, 2018 – It is finally Friday, y’all.  And I could not be happier.  To prepare for the warm weather coming my way next week, I wore my favorite off the shoulder top once again.  I talked about this top from H&M a few posts back and I decided today that I wanted to style it a different way than I originally talked about.  I fell in love with this top because of the versatility of the top. And the ability to wear it with so many things.

This top is so simple yet so adorable and fashionable.  It is a very lightweight material, which makes it perfect for Spring and Summer.  And, the pattern is to die for.  I mean who doesn’t love stripes?  Because I sure do.  Another feature that I adore about this top is the sleeves.  The sleeves are the wider fit sleeve with a small tie at the end.    This detail, in my mind, sets this particular top apart from the rest.  Many of the off-the-shoulder tops I’ve seen this year have, in my mind, boring sleeves.  In the fall and winter, tops had the cutest bell sleeves or other sleeve details.  But I have not seen many this spring, or many that I’ve actually liked.  Based on what I’ve seen so far (it’s still early in the spring), this top is quickly becoming my favorite top of the season.

Y’all may recognize this top from a few posts ago, and I decided to break it out again.  The first time I wore this top, I wore it with white denim and gold sandals (but I wore the same earrings as today).  I wanted to try something new with regular denim.  And the outfit turned out to be even cuter than it was in my head.

You should know by now that these earrings are my absolute favorite.  And blush has definitely become my color of April (maybe even my spring color).  The new blush feature that I added to this outfit is these blush Marc Fisher Flatform Sandals.  I found these shoes at Nordstrom Rack about a month ago and they were too cute to pass up.  I saw the scalloped details and I was sold.  The shoes are extremely comfortable (1) because they are a platform (or “flatform”) shoe and (2) because Marc Fisher shoes have such a cushiony sole.  Like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I have feet that need comfortable shoes because of issues caused by dancing and running so heels/wedges are hard for me to find.  I need shoes that are extremely comfortable and don’t cause me pain, while also being fashionable.  And as easy as that sounds, very few shoes like that exist.  BUT, these Marc Fisher Flatforms are definitely everything I needed and wanted and more.  To say I’m obsessed is an understatement.

I wanted to keep it short and sweet on this Friday.  Can’t wait to keep sharing with y’all!

Until Next Time,
