SimplyEJV Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Softened Butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 1 Cup White (Granulated) Sugar
  • 1 Cup Dark Brown Sugar Packed
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 3 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 Bag of Chocolate Chips

 

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Line a baking pan (or sheet) with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Mix flour, baking soda, sea salt, and baking powder.  Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix butter and sugars.  Cream together until combined.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
  5. Mix in the dry ingredients until combined – I find it easier to mix with my hands.
  6. Add 1 bag of your choice of chocolate chip cookies and mix well – again with hands.
  7. Use a small cookie scoop to make your cookies and place them evenly spaced on your prepared cookie sheets.
  8. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 10-15 minutes.  Check them after 10 minutes, every 2 minutes.  Take them out when they are just BARELY starting to turn brown.
  9. Let them sit on the baking pan for 2 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
  10. Eat & enjoy!
