Welcome to SimplyEJV, 

My name is Emily Jane and I am the face behind SimplyEJV.  Since I was young, I have loved all things fashion.  I was always the first to ask to play dress up on playdates, I loved sitting on my parent’s bedroom floor while my mum got ready for any function completely mesmerized by the way she put outfits together so effortlessly, one of my favorite activities (and still one of my favorites) was shopping, and the list goes on.  After spending so much time admiring fashion from afar, I decided to take my love of fashion to the next level and SimplyEJV was created.  

My goal for SimplyEJV is for it to act as my creative outlet for all things fashion (with a bit of travel thrown into the mix).  It is my place to share my passion with others and to inspire my readers/followers to experiment with patterns or items they would usually pass on.  Fashion is an art form unique to each individual based on many factors.  For me and my current life stage, my style priorities are for my pieces to be timeless and affordable.  One day I hope to be able to afford items from the designer’s everyone loves, but for right now I want to be fashionable and on trend without breaking the bank.  Aside from fashion, you can expect travel posts and travel guides as I take any opportunity I can to explore every inch of the world.  So far, I have visited twelve countries and plan to add more.

As for the person behind the blog, I am a twenty-something, fashion loving (obviously), caffeine drinking (coffee makes the world go round), travel obsessed, young professional working the glamorous life of retail.  Although I love all things chic, I spent my time in college studying numbers and finished my four years with a degree in Accounting.  Because of that, I am serious about staying in budget while being on trend.  I am always planning my next trip to the city, my outfits for the next week, or binging on Gossip Girl, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., or Gilmore Girls.
